Get ready for a BLOW-UP country with REAL Red Dirt country music and the BULL-PROOF bull riding on earth! The Turnpike Troubadours’ Wild America Tour comes to iconic Tingley Coliseum at the New Mexico State Fairgrounds on Friday, September 11th, 2026.
After a long day of rodeo action, headlining the main stage is Oklahoma's native country music power-house band, Turnpike Troubadours. The band has become one of the top Americana bands in the country with songs like "Gin, Smoke, Lies" and "The Bird Hunters" becoming anthems for music fans. They will perform live at the Woodward Stockyards Arena main stage beginning at 6:00 PM.
Red Dirt royalty Truth & Alibi of Truth & Alibi known to fans as Red Dirt royalty, will bring their resurgence album A Cat in the Rain to White Oak Music Hall.

Bringing Red Dirt country music to you in the most authentic form possible. Formed in 2007 by lead vocalist Evan Felker and bassist R.C. Edwards, Turnpike Trouads are a Texas/Oklahoma Red Dirt country collective that have become one of the most respected and popular Red Dirt bands, earning them the title of Red Dirt Kings. Hear their hits such as “Gin, Smoke, Lies”, “Before the Devil Knows We’re Dead”, “The Bird Hunters”, “Kansas City Southern” and “Long Hot Summer Day” as they are performed with pure passion and energy unlike anything you have ever seen.
Since their return to touring in 2019, after a four year hiatus, the band has released their new album “A Cat in the Rain” in 2023, continuing to evolve as one of the premier Red Dirt bands in the country. The band is a full band consisting of:

Before the music starts, the best bull riders in the PRCA will ride and outlast some of the most aggressive bulls in competition for cash and prizes and the grand title of Bull Riding Champion. When the dust settles and the eight minutes are up and the bulls have won, their rides and the other events of the rodeo will be no more. Except for Bull Riding - considered by many to be the most dramatic and exciting event in sports. Combined with the Country Music event that takes place for the remainder of the evening, this is the perfect event to attend!

On site parking is available. Expect 30 minutes to 1.5 hours of traffic during the State Fair. Arriving early will secure a closer parking space and avoid the worst of the traffic. There is also street parking and lots available throughout the surrounding Albuquerque neighborhood.
