Tingley Coliseum at New Mexico State Fairgrounds
Just a few short weeks after summer says goodbye and fall begins, things can start to turn to early autumnal awesomeness, and that’s just what’s in store on Friday, September 11th, 2026, when the Turnpike Troubadours swing by Tingley Coliseum for a performance as part of the New Mexico State Fair. This Oklahoma-based Red Dirt country band has done well to develop a loyal following by serving up exciting, original music that’s real, not reheated.
The group’s latest album, The Price of Admission, was released in April 2025 and the band will be playing all the hits including “Long Hot Summer Day,” “Good Lord Lorrie,” and “Diamonds and Gasoline.”

The Turnpike Troubadours will perform live at Tingley Coliseum on Friday, September 11th, 2026. The concert takes place at the fair grounds down town as a part of the well known New Mexico State Fair here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Show time is 9:00 PM with doors at 6:00 PM.

The group, which features lead vocalist Evan Felker, RC Edwards, Kyle Nix, Ryan Engleman, and Gabriel Pearson, with occasional appearances by Hank Early, has been playing live throughout the region since 2005. With a soulful blend of rock n' roll and Red Dirt music, they bring a dynamic energy and passionate performance to original songs like the anthemic "Long Hot Summer Day," road weary "Gin, Smoke, Lies," every boy's "Every Girl," and heartfelt ballads like "Good Lord Lorrie" and "Diamonds and Gasoline."
In addition to their hard earned Lone Star Music Awards for Best Emerging Artist and Best Album for Diamonds & Gasoline, The ensemble’s recordings consistently chart on the Billboard charts and remain the group’s most well known work.
The venue has a total of 11,571 seats and is large enough to provide an ideal viewing area without being too overwhelming. The different seating sections allow you to choose your ideal location to view a performance. Parking at the New Mexico State Fairgrounds is $10 for night shows and you will be safely parked in an assigned area and be able to return to your vehicle at the end of the show. Assigned spaces will be on a first come basis. In addition there is plenty of parking in nearby street spaces and in auxiliary lots throughout the greater Albuquerque area.
